Background
The Fulbright U.S. International Education Administrators Award for the 2026-27 academic year has selected Rosalind Dale, Ed.D., who serves as North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University’s vice provost for Engagement and Outreach, for this prestigious higher education leadership award.
The award, recognises Dale’s continued dedication to building global partnerships and creating meaningful cross-cultural experiences for students and faculty.
She will participate in a multi-country seminar that extends across France and Senegal because it is a requirement of the program. The seminar’s purpose is to establish deeper institutional connections between participating organizations while creating new international mobility routes.
Dale played a central role in establishing formal agreements with five universities in South Africa, and she has directed partnership activities in Brazil, Costa Rica and Vietnam. She serves as chair of the Global Advisory Group at the university, which develops strategies to integrate international research and student recruitment and alumni activities into campus operations.
Her motivation, according to her statement, stems from her desire to create educational opportunities that will allow students and faculty to experience international learning.
The university has been named a Fulbright HBCU Institutional Leader four times with its most recent award occurring in both 2024 and 2025. The award serves as proof that the university operates beyond its actual size in terms of international educational impact.
