Key Background

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced that applicants for the IBPS PO/MT-XV and IBPS SO-XV recruitment 2025 will be provided a two-day window during which they can make corrections in their application forms. The chance to make corrections will be provided from July 31, 2025, to August 1, 2025, which will provide candidates one last opportunity to make corrections for errors committed in the process of application.

This center will be open only to those candidates who had successfully completed the registration process and fee payment at the time of initial application. Incomplete or unpaid applications cannot be corrected. Candidates can correct some details like educational qualifications, category status (if allowed), and communication details. Some very critical fields like name, email ID, mobile number, and post preference are frozen and cannot be corrected.

To make use of the correction facility, the applicants are asked to pay a non-refundable fee of ₹200 (including GST). The applicants may correct once, and after submitting it, no more changes will be accepted. The applicants are asked to go through all details thoroughly before making the corrections final.

This window of rectification is especially important because it guarantees that no errors have been left in applications prior to the recruitment process proceeding. IBPS PO Preliminary tests will take place in August 2025, whereas the Mains test and interviews for PO and SO posts will be scheduled between October and February. In the absence of errors or blunders in the applications, an uninterrupted recruitment process is needed since improper details result in disqualification at later stages.
